Photos of the Week: Klaus Nomi & I by Harald Sweirt
Bloggerees - Harald, Harald - Bloggerees ... I would like to introduce you both. Harald is a dear friend, who just happens to be an incredible artist. He mainly uses photography and computer graphics to create his masterpieces. Harald Seiwert's Photos(some are X-rated)
I first met Harald when I was doing a show with the QETC; he came in to do make-up and help out backstage and that was when I got to know the incredible person he is. We chatted about me posing for him one time - he thought I looked a bit like Klaus Nomi and told me about his idea. I really liked the idea of doing something artistic for AIDS - the Nami photo of me was the main feature in a NYC AIDS Gallery showing of various artists. Don't we look so alike? 
Harald was also the one to do my incredible make-up for Torch Song; when we shot the trailer he was busy with me for 1.5 hours. He also lent me the incredible heels - let me tell you - even living in The Netherlands it's close to impossible to find 12.5" wide high-heels! Harald has size 12 narrow so I had to cramp my little piggies in and smile while on stage. It was a blast!Below you'll find some links on Klaus Nomi; I think it's important for people to not forget him as he had an amazing voice and was quite the entertainer.
